The CIA has an agreement with the Township that the captured TIF revenue will be transferred to the General Fund – first to pay off the first lien from the Waldon / Sashabaw intersection and then second, to pay back the debt service on the bond that was issued in 2018.  The general fund has been fronting the debt service.  The Township Board, which approved the agreement can be read here.

The first lien was paid off in 2020.  TThe CIA has fully reimbursed the general fund for the Waldon/Sashabaw intersection and is now working on paying back the debt service.
