Starting on June 2, dog licenses are considered delinquent and will need to be purchased online, by mail, or by in-person appointment at Oakland County.
The cost for a one year license will increase to $33.00 at this time as well.
Starting June 2, 2021 OCAS/PAC (Oakland County Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Center) Census team workers will begin going door to door in our community to verify compliance with the Michigan State Dog Law of 1919 that requires all dogs to have a valid license. This law was enacted to ensure that all dogs have a current rabies vaccination.
The census workers will be driving marked County vehicles and will be wearing County shirts with proper identification.
Please contact OCAS/ PAC at 248-975-4463 with questions.
